I like the ceremony, but I think it missed something. When Edwin Kagin does a de-baptism, he uses a hair drier. Somehow, that's better than just mumbo jumbo.
But then, I'm a fundamentalist atheist, keen on keeping the rituals concrete. Maybe since this fine man was baptized while dead, there's no need to get the water off.
I don't always find Maher amusing, but that was top-drawer-priceless! More of an exorcism than an un-baptism... no, wait: they're the same. ;-) Steve Weeks
