EJ&T - Hebrews: The evil heart of unbelief

In the Every Jot and Tittle project, I am listing all of the Bible's commandments from Genesis to Revelation, in accordance with Jesus's words in Matthew 5:18-19. I have no idea how many commandments I'll find, but Jewish tradition claims there are 613. See here for a list of those that I've found so far.

  1. Watch out for the evil heart of unbelief.
  2. Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. Hebrews 3:12

  3. Exhort one another daily.
  4. Exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. Hebrews 3:13

  5. Work to enter into that rest.
  6. Labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. Hebrews 4:11

  7. Don't lose your confidence.
  8. Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. Hebrews 10:35

  9. Lift up your hands and knees; and make straight paths for your feet.
  10. lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees; And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed. Hebrews 12:12-13

  11. Don't refuse Jesus.
  12. And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. Hebrews 12:24-25

  13. Don't forget to entertain strangers.
  14. (Some have unknowingly entertained strangers.)
Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Hebrews 13:2

  15. Remember those who are not free.
  16. Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them. Hebrews 13:3

  17. Remember those who suffer adversity.
  18. (Since you are also in the body.)
Remember ... them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body. Hebrews 13:3

  19. Don't include any covetousness in your conversation.
  20. Let your conversation be without covetousness. Hebrews 13:5

  21. Be content with what you have..
  22. (Because he said he'll never leave you.)
be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Hebrews 13:5

  23. Remember those who rule over you.
  24. Remember them which have the rule over you. Hebrews 13:7

  25. Remember those who spoke the word of God to you.
  26. (Follow their faith, considering the end of their conversation.)
Remember them ... who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation. Hebrews 13:7

  27. Don't get carried away with strange doctrines.
  28. (Because it's good for the heart to be established with grace, not with meats.)
Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.Hebrews 13:9

  29. Pray for the author of Hebrews.
  30. (Because he had a good conscience and tried to live honestly.)
Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly. Hebrews :
