- Don't let anyone spoil you with philosophy.
- Don't bother with Sabbaths or holy days.
- Don't think you'll be rewarded for voluntary humility.
- Don't worship angels.
- Don't believe in things you haven't seen.
- Seek things that are above, not on things on the earth.
- Mortify your members.
- Don't be unclean.
- Don't be inordinately affectionate.
- Don't have evil concupiscence.
- Don't be wrathful.
- Don't blaspheme.
- Don't let any filthy communication come out of your mouth.
- Be humble.
- Be meek.
- Be long-suffering.
- Forbear one another.
- Let the peace of God rule your heart.
- Let the word of Christ dwell in you.
- Teach one another.
- Do everything in the name of Jesus.
- Children, obey your parents.
- Fathers, don't make your children angry.
- Slaves, obey your masters.
- Whatever you do, do it heartily.
- Masters, give your slaves what is just and equal.
- Walk in wisdom toward nonbelievers.
- Know how to answer everyone.
- Read the epistle from Laodicea.
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. Colossians 2:8
