Br'er Joseph really liked the word "save" in place of "except". It's almost like he heard it and went crazy for it. Along with "and it came to pass", of course.
As Brian Dalton says in the clip, mor(m)ons are a generally well-educated and intelligent bunch. How, then, can they possibly believe this book when it is sooooooo badly written? I mean, are they cursed with a sore cursing?

to be fair, the bible could bash any other candidate just as well.
There will only be progress when your presidents don't have to pretend/actually beleive in ancient books about non-existent beings.
