Jesus isn't known for his commandments. Many people, in fact, think that he came to do away with the all of the Bible's commandments, even though Jesus himself denied this in
He did have quite a few of his own to add, though. Here are the ones that I've found so far. (They are commandments 833-942 in the Every Jot and Tittle list.)
- Hear the words of Jesus.
If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. Mark 4:23
- Listen carefully. The more carefully you listen, the more you will hear.
Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given. Mark 4:24
- Let everyone see your good works.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works. Matthew 5:16
Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.. 1 Peter 2:12
In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works. Titus 2:7
- When you help the poor, don't let anyone see you do it.
Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men.
Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly. Matthew 6:1-4
- Don't think Jesus came to destroy the law.
Think not that I am come to destroy the law. Matthew 5:17
- Don't call your brother "Raca".
Whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council. Matthew 5:22
- Don't call anyone a fool.
Whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. Matthew 5:22
- Make up with your brother before leaving a gift at the altar.
Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;
Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. Matthew 5:23-24
- Agree with your adversary quickly, before you are thrown into prison.
(You won't get out of prison until you've paid the last penny.)
Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing. Matthew 5:25-26
When thou goest with thine adversary to the magistrate, as thou art in the way, give diligence that thou mayest be delivered from him; lest he hale thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and the officer cast thee into prison. I tell thee, thou shalt not depart thence, till thou hast paid the very last mite. Luke 12:58-59
- Don't look at a woman with lust.
(If you do, you've already committed adultery with her.)
Whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. Matthew 5:28
- If your right eye offends you, pluck it out.
If thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. Matthew 5:29
If thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire. Matthew 18:9
If thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. Mark 9:47-48
- If your right hand (or foot) offends you, cut it off.
If thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. Matthew 5:30
If thy hand or foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire. Matthew 18:8

- Don't divorce your wife (unless she has fornicated).
(If you divorce your wife, you cause her to commit adultery.)
Whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery. Matthew 5:32
Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery. Matthew 19:9
- Don't divorce your wife (even if she has fornicated).
(If you divorce her, you both commit adultery.)
What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. ...
And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.
And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery. Mark 10:9-12
- Don't marry a divorced woman.
(If you do, you are committing adultery.)
Whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery. Matthew 5:32
Whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery. Matthew 19:9
- Don't swear. Just answer the question, Yes or No.
I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:
Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.
Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil. Matthew 5:34-37
Above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation. James 5:12
- Don't resist evil.
But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. Matthew 5:39

- If you are sued, give more than you are ask for.
If any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also. Matthew 5:40

But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. Matthew 6:5-6
- Don't repeat prayers.
When ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. Matthew 6:7-8

- Forgive others.
If ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

- Beware of false prophets.

- Do the will of Jesus's father (or hear the word of God and do it).
And you can be Jesus's brother, sister, and mother.

Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 22:12-13
- Do whatever the scribes and Pharisees tell you to do.
Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
Saying ... All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do. Matthew 23:1-3
- Don't do what the scribes and Pharisees do.
Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
Saying The scribes and the Pharisees ... do not ye after their works. Matthew 23:3
- Don't let anyone call you "Rabbi".
(Jesus is your only Rabbi.)
Be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. Matthew 23:8
- Don't call anyone "Father".
(God is the only father.)
Call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. Matthew 23:9
- Don't let anyone call you "Master".
(Jesus is your master; you are his slave.)
Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ. Matthew 23:19
- Don't be rich.
Woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation. Luke 6:24
Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. Luke 16:24-25
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. Matthew 19:23-24, Mark 10:23-25
- Don't eat until you are full.
Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Luke 6:25
- Don't laugh.
Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep. Luke 6:25
- Don't have everyone say nice things about you.
Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets. Luke 6:26
- Watch and be ready for the coming of the Son of man.
Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. ... Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. ...
The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 24:42-51
Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. Matthew 25:13
Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. ...
Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.

And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

- Don't stop non-Christians from casting out devils in Jesus's name.
Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.
But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me. Mark 9:38-39
- Give a cup of water to a Christian.
Whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward. Mark 9:41
- Give a cup of water to a a little one in the name of a disciple.
Whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward. Matthew 10:42
- Keep state and church separate.
Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's. Matthew 22:21
Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. Mark 12:17
Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things which be God's. Luke 20:25
- Don't wear long clothing, love being greeted, take the best seats, devour widows' houses, and make long prayers.
Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces,
And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts:

- Don't be deceived by false Christs.
Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. Matthew 24:4-5

- Don't worry about wars and rumors of wars.
Ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. Matthew 24:6

- When the end of the world is about to happen and you have to testify, don't worry about what to say.
(You won't have to say a word. Jesus will give you a wise mouth and the Holy Ghost will do the talking for you.)
When they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost. Mark 13:11
And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:
For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. Luke 21:13-15
- If anyone says to you, "Lo, here is Christ" or "Lo, there he is", don't believe it.
(Even if they do great signs and wonders.)
If any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Matthew 24:23-24

- Learn a fig tree parable.

- Give water to thirsty people.

- Take in strangers.
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For ... I was a stranger, and ye took me in. Matthew 25:34-35
- Visit the sick.
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For ... I was a sick, and ye visited me. Matthew 25:34-36
- Come to prisoners.
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For ... I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Matthew 25:34-36
- Hear Jesus's word and believe on the one who sent him.
He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. John 5:24
- Believe in Jesus.
(Or the wrath of God is on you and you'll be damned to hell.)
Whosoever believeth in him [Jesus] should not perish, but have everlasting life. ...
He that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:16-18
He that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. John 3:36
He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. John 5:24
He that believeth not shall be damned. Mark 16:16
- Kill anyone who refuses to be ruled by God (or Jesus).
But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me. Luke 19:27
- Be born again.
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:3

- Eat Jesus's body and drink his blood.
